We believe that every individual, redeemed by the grace of Christ, carries within them unique gifts and talents. It is these gifts that we harness and share under the banner of social entrepreneurship, with Jesus as our cornerstone.

- Management: consists of experienced individuals with diverse backgrounds and expertise, including professionals from various sectors, community leaders, and representatives from partner organizations. Tasked with translating the mission, vision, and core objectives of the Igati Community into actionable strategies and programs. Responsible for governance oversight, financial management, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement. Establishes policies and procedures to guide the organization’s operations and ensure accountability and transparency.

Comprised of members of the Igati Community who are actively involved in social entrepreneurship initiatives at the grassroots level. Represents the interests and perspectives of community members, ensuring their voices are heard in decisionmaking processes. Implements and coordinates local projects and activities aligned with the organization’s objectives, leveraging their intimate knowledge of community needs and dynamics. Collaborates with external partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to maximize impact and resources.

Our Community Journey To Date
Since its inception by a group of homegrown social entrepreneurs from meru county-Kenya in August 2023, the Igati Community is blazing a trail of social entrepreneurship. Rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and driven by an unwavering faith, Igati is tackling the challenges of poverty, calamities, and marginalization head-on.
As of today, Igati is innovating, empowering, and uplifting communities in Meru, Tharaka Nithi, Embu, Nyeri and Laikipia counties in the Republic of Kenya under our umbrella body of Igati Creative and Innovators NGO. We are developing creative and innovative solutions to address the root causes of poverty, including the impacts of natural disasters, climate change, economic crises, and public health emergencies. Through community engagement, collaboration, and creativity, Igati is forging partnerships, mobilizing resources, and implementing programs that make a tangible difference in the lives of those most in need.
As we move forward, Igati’s impact continues to grow, touching the lives of countless individuals and communities. We are providing economic empowerment opportunities, entrepreneurship training, and access to markets, empowering individuals to break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures for themselves and their families.
We are promoting environmental sustainability, advocating for policies and systemic changes that address the structural barriers to development, and promoting social inclusion and equity.
