Our Foundation
Anchored in the teachings of Matthew 5:13-19, Igati Mission draws inspiration from the call to be the “salt of the earth” and the “light of the world.” This biblical foundation drives our commitment to serve and uplift marginalized communities. We believe that by igniting a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship, we can create significant social and economic impact.
Community-Centric Approach
Igati Mission operates at the grassroots level, working closely with community-based organizations across various counties. Our mission is deeply integrated within the communities we serve, ensuring that our initiatives are tailored to meet the unique needs of each area.
Case Study: Igati Community in Meru County
A prime example of our work is the Igati Community in Meru County, under the Igati Mission Kirimaara Chapter Community-Based Organisation. Here, we have launched a pioneering social entrepreneurship initiative that has profoundly impacted many lives. Through creative and innovative solutions, we are empowering individuals and fostering economic self-sufficiency in bee keeping, sunflower farming, rabbit rearing, poultry keeping, among other Agribiz clusters with full value chain anchored at the grassroot level.

Looking ahead, Igati Mission is committed to developing a variety of social economic transformation projects in collaboration with county governments, national governments, non-governmental organizations, and development agencies. We seek partnerships with those who are passionate about combating poverty in marginalized and disadvantaged populations. Together, we can implement initiatives that bring lasting change.
