At Igati Creative and Innovators NGO, our mission is to fight poverty through faith-driven social entrepreneurship. We are rooted in community and guided by purpose—to transform lives by helping people use what they already have to create economic opportunity, dignity, and impact. We welcome donors, philanthropists, government agencies, and strategic partners to walk this journey with us.
January 2023 – Establishment of the NGO
Igati Creative and Innovators NGO was founded in Meru County with the mission to fight poverty through faith-driven social entrepreneurship and community empowerment.
August 2024 – One Million Beehive Project Launch
We introduced the Igati Mission One Million Beehive Project to transform rural communities by shifting them from job seekers to job creators through beekeeping and agribusiness.
2024–2025 – Development of Agribiz Cluster Models
Our team began creating specialized agribusiness clusters to help communities build sustainable enterprises rooted in agriculture, innovation, and local value chains.
2025 – Community Industrial Parks Initiative
We started designing plans for community-based industrial parks aimed at value addition, local manufacturing, and cooperative-driven economic growth.
2025 – Strategic Partnership with Meru University
We partnered with Meru University of Science and Technology to advance research, innovation, and commercialization for community transformation and rural development.
